You Want Pictures of Our New Apartment

But I haven't uploaded those yet. No, I haven't and you will just have to deal with it. What I do have though are this photo of me with our new car,

and this picture of my engagement ring.

Please ignore my funny short pants in the first photo and how pudgy my hands are in the second and focus on how beautiful this ring is. I will be honest, Nico first showed me this ring via webcam I could not tell what it looked like. I thought it looked like this:

Which, honestly, I would have loved just as much, but the one that my fiance actually chose far surpasses that, in my opinion. It's so me - so us. I stare at it a lot.

Our apartment - the one I do not yet have photos of - despite my complete and utter impatience, is coming along. The boxes of Ikea items are slowly becoming furniture, all the corners are getting cleaned and the cat is getting comfortable enough to start destroying my chair.

The Boy, newly installed in this country, has been wandering around our new neighborhood, trying out all the bakeries, cafes (and McDonalds) on the Main Street.

Evidence of this new domestic bliss to come.
